Towards sustainability of data-limited multi-sector fisheries
This
year's ASFB Inc workshop will include the following key
themes:
- ESD:
fisheries assessment requirements.
Where we are now and what we will need in the future.
- Coastal
and inland fisheries: Characterised by multiple gears,
mixed species, limited data and conflict between commercial
and recreational sectors. What have we done in the past,
where will this be inadequate in the future?
- Innovative
stock assessment methods.
- Data
Issues: data required to meet future needs.
Innovative
data sources, innovative data collection.
